On June 23, we received official information from Beijing's transportation authorities regarding the rotation of vehicle license plate restrictions. From June 30, 2025, to September 28, 2025, vehicles will be restricted based on their license plate ending numbers from Monday to Friday as follows: 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9. License plates ending with letters will be treated as ending in 0. As a reminder, on Monday, June 30, vehicles with license plates ending in 5 and 0 will be restricted. Details are as follows:
Upcoming rotation schedules for license plate restrictions are:
1. June 30, 2025 – September 28, 2025: Monday to Friday restrictions for license plate endings: 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9.
2. September 29, 2025 – December 28, 2025: Monday to Friday restrictions for license plate endings: 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8.
3. December 29, 2025 – March 29, 2026: Monday to Friday restrictions for license plate endings: 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7.
