On June 26, SAIC's MG brand announced via its official social media channels that the 2026 MG Cyberster will debut on June 30. The updated model will introduce an optional red soft top and two new interior color schemes: black and red, as well as gray and white. As a facelifted version, the car will feature configuration upgrades. For reference, the current MG Cyberster is priced between $44,540 and $50,946.

The 2026 MG Cyberster comes with ten notable upgrades, including a new Iris Blue exterior color, increased trunk space, a wind deflector, and powered lumbar support. On the tech front, the model features improved voice recognition, a convertible top counter function, and an immersive sound system matrix. Additionally, the chassis has been newly calibrated, and the Battery Management System (BMS) has been optimized for better range performance. Dimensionally, the Cyberster measures 4535mm in length, 1913mm in width, 1329mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2690mm.

The 2026 MG Cyberster will offer new red-black and gray-white interior color options, catering to younger buyers' tastes. The cabin features a triple-screen layout in front of the driver, a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel wrapped in leather, and a "Super Sport" mode button. Powering the Cyberster is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a maximum output of 400 kW and 725 Nm of peak torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and is equipped with a 77 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. However, the official range figures have not yet been disclosed.
